- 3 carrots,
- 5-6 stock of celery,
- 1 big onion (about the size of the rice bowl!),
- 4 tomatoes,
- 1 clove of garlic,
- 1 table spoon of pepper
- salt to taste (the smoked pork knuckle is quite salty itself, so taste the soup before add more salt)
- 1 Euro-Deli smoked pork knuckle,
all cut into chunk.
Deep fry one grove of garlic in the wok, throw in the knuckle chunk, stir fry till brown, then add in all the veggies, fry for a while, pour in about 1.5 litre water, let it boil, then transfer all into the slow cooker, add a tea spoon of ground pepper, cook overnight.
It was heaven… if don’t take pork, the Euro-Deli’s smoked turkey wing also work well.
