FUN WITH HOUSEWORK

      July 9, 2005

My church had an event called Kids Fun Time for children of all ages. I took my kids there to have fun. There were about more than 100 children turn up. It started with registration, singing, telematch and fun stalls. It cost nothing. It is all fun for kids. At the fun stalls, kids can play the stall games and get stickers. From the stickers, they can exchange for gifts.

My son was having lots of fun. He did his best at the stall where he threw coins into a bucket of water, with a cup underneath. If the coin enters the glass, he will get a sticker. Does a three year old know how to aim? Of coz not, he just fling the coin. The coin just sink down and somehow it fall right into the cup. He did it a few times and out of 5 coins, 2 will go in. Ever stall, there is a queue, and children have to wait for their turn. Mummy did all the queuing and he played.

At one stall, children are supposed to throw ping pong balls into the yogurt cups. When it came to my son’s turn, he wanted to keep the balls for himself. He didn’t want to throw. After much persuasion, he finally threw. None of them went in.

There were also bowling, golf, shooting, fishing, brain killer puzzle solving and a whole lot more.

Oh where is dad? Dad was the photographer. Here is some of his shots:

    • Height

      July 6, 2005

Height runs in my family, not me but my husband, son and daughter. My son who is 3 years old, he is already more than half my height. My gal, she is almost half my height. Next time I will be looking up to three of them, poor me.

I bought a height chart when my son was born. I keep track of their height once in a while. I like it because it is a picture of a giraffe which I think 2 of them will be little giraffes as they grow up.

I have left side for Tim and right side for Emily. From this chart, you can tell that I am stopping at 2. 2 is enough. 3 is a crowd. 4 is too many to handle.

I wonder will there be any NBA players in my family. Who knows?

My son can sit very quietly to watch Barney and now he sings with him. I just don’t understand how some mums can hate the purple & green dino?

He never get bored no matter how many times he watches it. He can watch it over and over and over and over….. He has watched Toy Story like a 100 times. He even remember when every moves and actions. Whenever BuzzLightYear fly, he will prepare himself on the sofa and make a dive.

Anyway, mum can have peace when he is watching his VCD. Yeah yeah yeah too much TV is no good.
