Protected: 6WM – Day 9
There is a major project happening this weekend and my manager notified everyone not to take leave. However I told her I already booked flights back. I have given her 6 additional contractors for this project. I don’t think she needs that many people and she already has 6 internal stuff plus HP contractors. Sounds like a party. She gave me a green light to go on my vacation. Oh I have to get food for the team, as I volunteer myself, the least I can do. The team has to work 2-3 nights 24×7, on shifts. We are actually relocating our data center with a whole bunch of critical servers.
Today hubby called me in the office. He needs me to help him to find his SPM cert because HR needs it. I never seen his cert before and have no idea where he puts it. I went home after babysitting my children with Winnie. I head to the study room and took out a few of his folders to search. Nope nothing there. I saw a bunch of dusty folders at top corner of the shelf. I remembered those were the folders he packed from his mom’s place. I took down 1, and bingo, his SPM cert. Not bad his grades. Hahaha… This is the first time I am seeing his SPM grades.
Since the children are still watching TV, I read the papers. After they finished, I had quality fun time with them in the bedroom. Nowadays, Emily wants mummy to sleep next to her. I had to make excuses to leave the room. Excuses like, mummy has to work, mummy has to wash bottles, mummy has to … *fill in the blanks*. If you hit the right sentence, she will allow you to go. Today Tim help mummy out. He filled in the blanks for mummy, how cute.
Me: Tim where is daddy?
Tim: Daddy in US.
Me: Tim you miss daddy?
Tim: I miss mummy.
Me: But mummy is not in US.
Tim: Daddy in US.I think he misses his daddy because before I switched off the light, he asked me if daddy can sleep here. I told him daddy will come back soon to sleep next to you. I plant a kiss on his forehead. Lights off.

Hey your kids can sleep without you next to them?? How nice.
Zara will have to have an arm wrap around me.. and if she’s not sound asleep, and I try to sneak out (and she couldn’t touch me), she’ll open up her eyes and cry. 🙁
