Afraid of The Dark
9 CommentsGuess who is afraid of the dark? I am not sure when Tim developed the fear of dark. When he was younger, he had no problem entering a dark room. Up until recently, he told me to accompany him upstairs or to the toilet. The Chinese will call him “sai tam”.
Oh well, here is a funny thing he said to me.
Tim: Mummy, come follow me to the toilet.
Mummy: The kitchen light is on and there is nothing to be afraid off.
Tim: Come, come *pulling my hand*. I am afraid that Barney suddenly appeared.
Mummy: Barney? Now why would Barney appear???!!
Tim: See *pointing at a Barney cardboard that is below the dustbin*Hrmm…no more Barney shows for him from now on. Yeap the purple dino is haunting my Tim. Don’t laugh!

I always thought Barney was a scary freaky huge gigantic dinosaur. Can’t understand why kids like him so much. The scary thing is Ethan has begun to take a liking to Barney now. SIGH

hmm… I also wonder my gal loves to watch dog’s cartoon and dog’s movies but it’s the doggies that haunt and makes her scare too…

Ha,ha….the way you write it, make me really laugh…..for Jona, since baby, he really ‘sai tan’ till today…even sleeping on same bed, he want me or Daddy to sleep by himself..otherwise, he won’t sleep….**aiyooh**

Both my girls also scare of dark, always ask us on the light before they enter bedroom.
