Who Dunnit? – Sweets Mystery
9 CommentsLast month, my gal returned home with sweets every day. I was wondering who gave her the sweets.
Mummy: Who gave you sweets?
Emily: Teacher Chan and Teacher Wong.
Mummy: Why do they give you sweets?
Emily: Because Iam agood gal.It is not like the teachers. They might reward the children with sweets once in a while but not frequent. I know they frequently give stickers. I related it to the school principal and request that the teachers not to give my gal sweets so often.
Yesterday, the principal told me that she solved the sweet puzzle. She told me that it was Emily’s friend Farrah that gave her the sweets. The principal was puzzle at first because she knows her teacher would never give children sweets all the time. I apologized to her.
Mummy: Emily, Mrs Nxxx told me that your friend Farrah gave you the sweets.
Emily: Yes Farrah is my friend. She gave me sweets.
Mummy: Why you say teacher Chan and teacher Wong gave you the sweets? You say wrong already. *imitate her way of speaking*
Emily: I forgot mah.
Mummy: Ok. Tell your friend Farrah, cannot give you so many sweets. Later your teeth all spoiled. Like kor kor, no teeth. *Tim’s two front teeth dropped off*
Emily is allergic to certain coloring. She will developed phlegm and later wheezing. My hubby and I are always concerned about the junk food she eats. She cannot take M&M too. Maybe when she grows up, I hope she will be stronger.

i think you are doing her good by not developing her sweet tooth at such young age. Many acquired sweet tooth when they are kids and it’s not something easy to get rid off even when they are all grown up.

mama’s of 2littlefellas: I am more worried of her wheezing (difficulty in breathing) than anything. Sweets have lots of coloring.

Same for Jona….it is common that kid during this age will just simply said the name out?? If I ask Jona who pinch him or where he get the injure from, he will said Isaac even tho Isaac didn’t attend same school with him yet….

Sometimes you wonder if they are intentionally telling lies (to cover themselves) or really forgot or don’t know how to articulate.
