The Tux Day
Last Saturday I attended my church friend’s wedding. I observed that the only time a dad will wear a tuxedo is at his own wedding day and when he is walking his gal down the wedding aisle. Probably I will see my hubby wearing a tuxedo when Emily gets married sometime in the future.
I saw a dad who dressed very casually in church, not much effort spent in clothes selection. Don’t all guys do that? He comes week in and out with the same design of shirt and pants. However on the day when his son got married, he was in smart and elegant tuxedo. He seems like a different man.
Anyway, it was Emily’s first experience in a wedding ceremony. She also tried her photography skills with her father’s guidance. When she came home, she took a pearl necklace, placed it on her head like a wedding band, holding her kor kor’s hand and pretended to be a bride. That’s my gal.

Hi Michelle,
I am actually not giving a comment on the topic of tux. I don’t know if you still remember me… my name is Vasanthi Ramadass and I was in the same school as you…BBGS. I believe we were in the same class either in primary or secondary school.. I can’t seem to remember when exactly.. age is catching up. I came across your blog in Joanna Yeoh’s blog and I thought that I would say hi.
My email address is karamu@streamyx.com

Wah! Mr. Loong’s trying to teach Emily to be a photographer? How was Emily’s skill? Did the photos she took come out ok?
Emily pretended to be a ‘bride’ and made her kor kor the ‘bridegroom’? Hahaha! So cute. Emily does come out with something to put a smile on ur face.

Actually I agree… apart from work, the only time where one wear formally will be during their children’s big day or some other big or important day

Emily doesn’t watch much TV?
Zara has not attended a wedding ceremony, but does make believe wedding very often, even telling me she wants to get married to some one handsome when she’s older.
Sometimes I wonder if it’s TV. -
