   Yeap, I had received the letter from the ministry last week. Registration will start on 1 August 2008. Maybe you can call the school to check it out. I think most probably you will get the letter by this week. Do you register him in a National School or Chinese School?

   Jac: National School. Do you mean I have to register my son again? I thought I registered him when he was 2006. Hrmmm….a bit lost in the process.

   didn’t know it’s time to receive the letter now. Got to check with school soon if still yet to receive them within this month.

   I didn’t receive a letter from the school. Mine was from the Ministry placing us in another school not of our choice so we have to either go to the school which we have been placed to confirm or to make an appeal. They gave us one month to do it from 28 July to 28 Aug.

   Just received a letter from the Ministry some 3-4 days ago. Mine is a Chinese School.

   Sorry for not giving you a clear picture. What actually I wanted to say is the school for sure will have the list of student being accepted by the school/ministry by now as the final registration (confirmation of acceptance by student)will start on 1 August 2008. (For a month). Upon receiving the placing letter from the Ministry, we need to register our kid at the particularly school again. There they will assign you to the class and etc….

   I received a letter from the Ministry a few days ago and I was so disappointed dat Des was not placed in the school of our choice. I don’t think I’m going to appeal cos the school Des was placed is near to Pappy’s working place, so no problem.

   U’ve to go to Tim’s school (where u registered him) to enquire if u don’t receive a letter cos normally we are allowed a month (should be at the end of August) to go back to the school to reconfirm of the registration.

   I tho, that when your boy is 5 yrs old, you have to start register him on yearly basic? That’s what I have done so far, register this year, and next year, have to go and pre-register again till Jona confirm being enrolled….
