    • Date With My Son

I had a date with my son yesterday. I took leave because my son’s school was closed due to Sunday concert. I took my son to do some shopping in Gurney Plaza. We started at 10 am, first took him to a indoor playground. Toys R Us placed some of their toys at a play area for children to play for free. There is 2 slides, 1 toy house and 1 donno what it is called for children to climb. There were no children around so my son played all of it by himself. He loves the toy house.

We also went to Toys R Us, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The toy house that I bought was there and it was more than double the price. I hope you parents out there, survey the toy price before making a purchase. I bought a wooden toy for my children. I just cannot resist. It was the heaviest thing that I got. I had to carried it to the car before continue shopping. You tell me whether it was worth buying. Pictures below.

At about 2pm, my son started to tell me his leg pain. Hehehe, we been shopping for 4 hours straight. We pack some special dinner for my hubby and headed home. My son was too excited to sleep. I send him to his room at 3pm. He didn’t sleep but at least he rested. At 4pm, he came down to play with his new wooden toy. At 5pm, we went to fetch my hubby. He slept in the car for a while and daddy accidentally woke him up. I sent him to bed at 7pm. He must be snoring away.

It was a fun time with him and I don’t mind shopping with him again. However there is no time to shop for my stuff because every time I hang around my area too long, he will said “Mummy lets go”.

    8. Wow! Nice wooden toy. Cannot resist, must get one for Z, but RM190+ is very steep laaa…. It must be new. Didn’t see it 3 weeks ago.

    9. Oh, this is so interesting!!! date with your boy, I mean :D, the only male you date wouldn’t make your hubby jeles? 😆

The toy you bought looks interesting too, how much it cost you? can’t afford to bring the girls to toy shop, we can’t tahan to see their face show the disappointment when we say no *sigh*.

can’t wait for one day I can go date with my girls too.

    10. I always have dates with Destinee (ya, without pappy) when shopping with her toys cos with pappy around always cannot get anything for her. He’ll always complain dat ‘dis is too expensive, dat is of no use, too many toys oredi …… blah, blah, blah’. So, whenever we go shopping, we always ‘ditch’ him, then Destinee and mommy will be able to shop happily and will use pappy’s money to pay (hee, hee, hee).

Ooiish, the toy looks interesting. Must get one for Destinee to explore and share share with mommy (hee, hee, mommy oso interested in exploring wor).

    11. I got the same wooden 5-way giant bead maze for Zerlynde this afternoon 😉 Thanks to Michelle for sharing… My gal is already asleep when I got home just now, so I am going to leave it on the bed beside her to welcome her when she wakes up tomorrow at 6am! Will keep her occupied for at least half an hour so she’ll leave me alone to sleep for a little while longer 🙂

My nephew opened ceremony just now. His parents seem more enthusiastic in the toy than he is….

    12. Lin: Hey do blog about it and let us know her expressions.

    13. Very nice wooden toy. Quite a lot of activity in it.
I do agree that we should cherish as much time with our kids as possible. Coz’ when they grow up, they’ll be shy to go out with their parents and dislike family outing.
