School Registration
I heard from my friend that the schools are opened for registration in March. During lunch time, I went to the school, hoping to register Timothy. The school officer asked me to come back next year March. 🙁
What documents required for school registration?
1. Actual copy of the birth cert and a photocopy of it.
2. Utility bill showing the address of your house.
3. Pay slip for both parents. *not sure why they need it for*By the way, I am registering him to national school. Why? Because mummy and daddy came from National school. I prefer to be able to help them with their studies. I want my children to be more relaxed without all the heavy homework. Life is not all about homework and As. I want them to learn with fun. No doubt learning mandarin is important. I will register them to extra classes for mandarin.
I heard that now in Chinese schools, they have English and Chinese subject for Maths and Science. Double homework for 2 subjects although the contents are the same.
Do check with your school of choice for registration info.

Egghead: Somemore not a Chinese School. 🙁
Jess: Share your experience with me when you have done it. 😀
Jazzmint: Have to check with the school, this year 2001 must register liao.
Zara’s mama: I email the ministry of edu to see what they have to say about that. 🙁
Jefferene: Maybe you clever & smart. I think it also depends on the school. 😆

Yee? What happened to my comment? Got eaten up? Nvm I try again. I was just saying I have the same idea as you to send them to national school so that I can help them. How on earth would I be able to help for Chinese school when I don’t understand the language myself. Also I was wondering, my kids born in 2002 and 2004, need to register so early meh?

Mumsgather: Check with the school of your choice. Your children is the same age as mine. Probably next year I will register both of them at the same time.

some say register three years earlier, some say cannot, just regiater the year before, so I also pening kepala when to register, but anyway my friend who have the girl same age with belles will inform me.
hah… I might consider register the girls to national school, because the fees will be cheaper, and I got more choice, but then I will not be able to coach them on their study, because all in Malay and English.
still timbang the pros and cons.
