Protected: 6WM – Day 8
Today I got frustrated. Please tell me if I did it all wrong because I felt a bit guilty after that. I have been receiving a lot of crank calls at my house phone. A few of them when pick up, you can hear sound but the caller is silent. It gets on my nerve when I received those especially when you are doing something important.
Yesterday, I reached home late because I had a long meeting at the office. I picked my son just in time and go buy dinner. I had to have my shower and dinner so that I can pick Emily too. You can say I was in a rush. Suddenly the phone rang just when I was about to put my mouth on the deliciously smelling Singapore fried mee hoon. I picked up the phone, the caller which sounded like a child.
Caller: hello
Me: hello
Caller: hello
Me: hello, may I help you?
Caller: hello *this can go on forever*
Me: WRONG NUMBER *frustrated tone* 😡Later after 30 seconds, the phone rang again. It was my SIL. :wall:
SIL: CC (my nephew) wants to talk to Tim. *I haven’t have my dinner and rushing. Here she is encouraging her son to play with the phone. EFNTD*
Me: Tim, CC wants to speak to you.
Tim put his hear on the phone, knowing him, he will not say anything. I had to hold the receiver for him and my tummy is growling.
Me: CC, please can you pass the phone to your mother.
SIL: Hello.
Me: Sorry, yeah I haven’t have dinner and I need to pick up Emily. I have to end the conversation here.
SIL: CC just wants to talk to Tim. Ok. Bye bye.*Steam up*. After a while, I kind of felt guilty at shouting “Wrong Number”. Sigh. Maybe my screw up hormones is making me frustrated.
On a happier note, after my dinner, I took the children to play in the indoor playground. Die, every time I go there, I spend at least RM50 in the supermarket. Hrmm. Maybe that is their marketing scam by putting the playground there. No more buying next time.

I think you are not harsh.. it’s ok because your SIL didn’t call at an appropriate time. 🙂

Really pissed me off too. Saying hellos 2 times and there’s no reply at the other end, I’ll put down the receiver.
Another thing is, the phone rings, pick up the receiver and greet hello but all u hear is the other person is talking to another person – I’m slam down the receiver immediately! 😡 It’s so annoying. At least have the courtesy to say hello first and tell me to wait. Heehee, my screw up hormones are worse then urs.
