Surprise!!!
On Friday, after a tired day from work, my hubby came and said “Dear, I have a surprise for you, please close your eyes”. He was really excited, hehehe more excited that I was. He came out with a box and said “Happy Mother’s Day!!!”. Wow, here is the box:
From the outside of the box, I knew what it was. I was surfing Dell site last year and wanting to get a PDA but never did because I cannot find a PDA with everything in it (smartphone, wifi, camera, PDA…trying to be greedy). Wanted to get O2 but battery life is not good.
Here it is, wahhhh lahhhhhh:
360º view:
Don’t you think my hubby is the coolest hubby in the whole wide world. I was busy playing with it the last 2 days, installing free stuff on it. I even upgraded the ROM, the VGA screen, etc…etc… I invested extra RM150 to get a NIV Bible installed.
Now, I am wondering, why Mother’s Day only have 1 day and Secretary has a whole week (Secretary Week). We should have Mother’s Year, in fact we have, whole year round our children keep giving us surprises (good and bad). Now I have to crack my brains to surprise my hubby, Father’s Day is next month.
Happy Mother’s Day To All….
Here is a touching story I received from email:
Moms’ love is always unconditional, it is also a good piece to remind us of values in life.
A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper, and he handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on.
After his Mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it, and this is what it said :
For cutting the grass: $5.00
For cleaning up my room this week: $1.00 For going to the store for you: $0.50 Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went shopping: $0.25
Taking out the garbage: $1.00
For getting a good report card:$5.00
For cleaning up and raking the yard: $2.00 Total owed: $14.75Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind.
She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he’d written on, and this is what she wrote:For the nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me: No Charge.
For all the nights that I’ve sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you: No Charge.
For all the trying times, and all that tears that you’ve caused through the years: No charge.
For all the nights that were filled with dread, and the worries knew were ahead:No Charge.
For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose:No Charge.
Son, When you add it up, the cost of my love is: No Charge.
When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears in his eyes, and he looked straight at his mother and said “Mom, I sure do love you”. And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote: “PAID IN FULL”

Wow, you lucky woman. I should give my hubby a hint too. But I guess he will just smile only (he’s good at that).
