When we were traveling back from KL during CNY, we had a minor car accident. We were at Tapah, refilling our petrol tank. It was also when my husband took over. :giggles: A Mercedes car, he was not looking reversing and hit our bumper. I am not sure why my husband didn’t honk him. If I was in the driver seat, I will. Anyway, he got out and we got out to take a look at the damage done. My car bumper was scratched and slightly dented. His Mercedes was scratched too but who cares.

A negotiation took place. My hubby wanted to settle on the spot but we don’t know how much the damage costs. The driver kept very quiet but his friend or brother, whoever, did the negotiation. At first he gave us his contact details, later he wanted to pay us off. I said RM250, he said RM150. My hubby saw his details and saw that he was a Datuk. Aiyah, Datuk also cannot pay RM250. The driver another kind, reverse without looking. Bang my car never mind, what if he knocks someone down. I was surprised that his precious Mercedes didn’t have any reverse sensor. It is P** 8. I said we fixed it and give him the bill. He doesn’t trust our workshop. I asked him to recommend his and we will fix it with his recommended workshop. Finally he agreed to pay us RM200 and took away the details. We didn’t want any hassle, so we agreed. Vien said he should pay for frightening my children, as the bang was quite loud. :giggles: We didn’t think of that.

After the incident, Timothy always tell his dad, “Papa, drive carefully yeah, don’t crash the car” :giggles:
