Today my girl came home holding a form. She was so excited and asked me to read. She has been invited to her school speech day. It is on a Saturday and it starts at 8:00am.

I asked her why is she invited. She is clueless on why she got the invitation. I guess I have to wait and see why she is invited. Speech Day is on 22nd Sept. Stay tune!

There are many bee farms in Cameron Highlands. Some required admission fees but most do not. We went to one which is at Tanah Rata that does not require any fees. It has a lovely garden with different kind of flowers for the bees to enjoy.

It also has a glass panel for us to watch the bees making honey comb. You can also buy lots of honey product home. I love those honey sticks and got a bundle home. My gal enjoyed it very much and honey is good for her.

First time I visited a mushroom farm and I was surprised that these mushrooms have beautiful colors and can be eaten. They make crispy mushroom chips which is very delicious. I heard that this is really easy to plant with the right temperature. By the way, I love to eat these abalone mushrooms. It goes well in Tom Yum soup!

I was shopping at Mydin and found this. Now I guess you won’t mix up your Raya money. For some of you who do not know what this is, it is actually a money gift to the children during the Raya Festival. Most parents, elderly people or married couples will give the children some Raya money.

I am sure someone will print the same for Chinese New Year. Will I use it? Maybe, just to trick my kids.

My children’s school teaches very little English grammar. The English, they are learning is too easy for them. They hardly learn noun, pronoun, adjectives, verb and etc. Mostly they do is composition or comprehension.

I bought some Singapore syllabus English workbook to start them on grammar. At least now, they understand the basic of English. They liked these workbooks. If you are looking for grammar books, I would recommend this. It has a lot of examples too.

I remembered my son didn’t like to drink milk after he was 8 months old. I was very worried as a first time mom. I had to spoon feed him during every milk time. Fortunately for me he learnt how to suck from the straw. He drank milk from the cup with a straw.

Now for toddler who is facing problem drinking milk from the bottle you can try to use milk straws. It comes in many flavors like chocolate, banana strawberry or vanilla. It will be Quick Milk for your kids and you do not have to wait for them to finish.

When you always point the camera at them, they will act like this. They have grown to be acting cute in a very funny way. I still adore them!

Me: Tim, you forgot to fold your blanket.

Tim: How to fold? *he knows how to do it but he just wanted to pretend*

Emily: Fold like an airplane. *lol*

Tim: Done.

Emily: Mummy, I want a thumb drive.

Me: *blur* Why do you need a thumb drive?

Emily: I want to save all the songs that I like into the thumb drive. Then I can play it over and over again.

Me: Ah!

Thank you all for leaving your birthday wishes on my FB page. It is great to see that I have so many virtual friends. Most of you know my girl and I have the same birthday. For many year since Emily started school, we didn’t throw any party because her birthday is always during school holidays. In fact, my boy’s birthday also fall on a school holiday.

Since we have a church family camp, I bought a cake to have a small celebration there. That way, there are warm bodies to finish the cakes. My girl is happy with that.

All she wants for her birthday is 1 cake and lots of presents for her birthday. Sure save me from planning a party! As for me, thank you God for his gift to me……
